ANELLI is giving birth to his first EP « Somewhere In Between », which will be OUT on April 14th on Boxon Records.
The story of a journey, the reading of a line of thoughts and the spray of a multitude of emotions : Somewhere In Between is all that at the same time.
ANELLI, which real name is Guillaume Paganelli, has made a genuine vow of sincerity and made a promise : enticing you to never let you go of his music. Definitely House, the production takes from disco and its hypnotic vocals, from rock bedecked with its circling hi-hats. A blend of influences pledging allegiance to the groove.
The metamorphosis is slow and progressive : first playing drums in various and exciting bands, offering inspiring glam-rock with funky and adventurous arrangements, it is in a complete and natural way that ANELLI stored his drum sticks to turn towards keyboards. Hours of studio and repetition fed hints of creation, shaping and exploration. As for snares and cymbals, they sound more than ever topical. Pleasure still remains, as well as desire is intact.
His productions make us first moving our heads and then waving our whole body : they are made so that we completely enjoy our time ; the Zoo Project (Sydney), the Nuba (Paris) and the Mistral (Aix-en-Provence) can vouch for it. And ANELLI does not intend to stop there ! With this EP release on Boxon Records, the label from Bordeaux which needs no introduction, he’s placing the year 2017 under the sign of the DJ Set with several gigs which are already set up.

ANELLI donne naissance à son premier EP « Somewhere In Between », à paraître le 14 avril sur Boxon Records.
Le récit d’un voyage, la lecture d’un cheminement et la diffusion d’une multitude d’émotions : Somewhere In Between est tout ça à la fois.
ANELLI, de son patronyme complet Guillaume PAGANELLI, fait un véritable voeu de sincérité et se fend d’une promesse : vous aguicher pour ne plus jamais vous lâcher. Résolument House, la production emprunte au disco et ses vocaux hypnotiques, au rock bardé de ses hi-hats virevoltants. Une agrégation d’influences prêtant allégeance au groove.
La mue est lente et progressive : d’abord batteur au sein de plusieurs formations d’envergure, distillant un glam-rock inspirant et des arrangements funk osés, c’est tout naturellement qu’ANELLI a rangé les baguettes pour se tourner vers les claviers. Les heures de studio et de répétition ont nourri des velléités de création, de façonnage et d’exploration. Les caisses claires et les cymbales sont, quant à elles, plus que jamais d’actualité. Le plaisir demeure toujours présent, tout comme l’envie, intacte.
Ses productions nous entrainent d’abord à taper du pied pour ensuite onduler de tout notre corps : elles comptent bien à ce qu’on en profite au maximum ; le Zoo Project à Sydney, le NUBA à Paris et le Mistral à Aix-en-Provence peuvent en attester. Et ANELLI ne compte pas s’arrêter là ! Avec la sortie de cet EP sur le label Boxon Records qu’on ne présente plus, il place 2017 sous le signe du DJ Set avec plusieurs dates qui sont d’ores et déjà au programme.
